Averi Chakrabarti

Postdoctoral Researcher | Medical Ethics & Health Policy

Averi Chakrabarti is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy. Her research focuses on health, human capital accumulation, and poverty alleviation in low- and middle-income countries.

In recent projects, Averi has examined the multifaceted impacts of cash transfer programs in sub-Saharan Africa, the infant mortality costs of deforestation in Indonesia, and the relationship between female land ownership and fertility in Nepal.

She received her Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
